梅宮大社2 またげ石と猫ちゃん（Umenomiya grand shrine2 – Straddle stone & Cats）
橘嘉智子（タチバナノカチコ＝檀林皇后）がまたいで仁明天皇を授かったというまたげ石です。
ただし、夫婦そろって参拝し祈祷した上で、またげばご利益があるとか…。
次女も第一子の時参拝したのですがあいにく彼氏は東京で仕事中。御守だけ買いましたが丈夫な女の子を授かりました。
Round two stones on the east side of main shrine.
1200 years ago, Tachibanano Kachiko straddled, she had a child(Emperor Ninmyo).
The name of the stone is Matage ishi. that means is straddle stone.
But There is no profit unless the couple visits together….

本殿の西側には「影向石（ようこうせき）」がありました。この3つの石は熊野から飛来した3匹のカラスが石になったと伝えられています。
On the west side of the main shrine, there was “Yokkou Seki”. These three stones are said to have become three stone crows that came from Kumano.
境内の東にお百度詣りの百度石がありました。（お寺でお願いするのはお百度参り）。
In the east of the precinct there was a 100 times stone of 100 times worship. 100 times worship means, visiting a shrine or temple a hundred times for prayer、walking back and forth a hundred times before a shrine offering a prayer each time.
ちなみに梅宮大社は猫神社としてネットで取り上げられることま多く、参拝時には受け付けに黒い猫が2匹ゴロンとしてました。1時間あまりの滞在時間で20人程の方とすれ違ったでしょうか。人もそれほど多くなく、ゆったりと参拝できるのでおすすめですよ。
By the way, Umemiya grand shrine is often taken up on the net as a cats shrine, and at the time of the visit there were two black cats for reception. Is it about passing by about 20 people in staying time of about 1 hour. There are not so many people, so it is recommended because you can spend a leisurely visit.
■梅宮大社までのアクセス
・四条烏丸から → 四条烏丸の交差点、南西のバス停から3番か29番のバスに乗る。四条烏丸から25分ほどで梅宮大社前のバス停で下車。そこから北に向かい、徒歩3分です。
・京都駅から → 京都駅北口バスターミナルのC5乗り場から28番のバスに乗る。京都駅から25分ほどで梅宮大社前のバス停です。そこから北に向かい、徒歩3分です。
■Access to Umenomiya Taisya(Umenomiya grand shrine)
・From Shijo-karasuma → Shijo-karasuma intersection and the southwest bus stop, and Take the No.3 or No.29 bus.
Get off at Umenomiya-Taisya-Mae bus stop in about 25 minutes from Shijo-karasuma. From there it’s 3 minutes walk north.
・From Kyoto station → Take bus No.28 from C5 bus stop at Kyoto Station North Exit Bus Terminal
Get off at Umenomiya-Taisya-Mae bus stop in about 25 minutes from Kyoto station. From there it’s 3 minutes walk north.
