日向地蔵(ひむけじぞう)さん1 (Himuke Jizo)

日向地蔵(ひむけじぞう)さんです。お地蔵さまが祀られています。
場所は京都府京都市南区吉祥院西ノ茶屋町にあり、京都市バスで四条烏丸から13番バスに乗り、西ノ茶屋町バス停で下車。そこから徒歩5分ぐらいです。

江戸時代末の安政5年(1858)陽泉亭松村徳翁居士により、お地蔵様が祀られました。

お地蔵様は、この世にとどまり、身代わりで私達の苦難を受け止めてくれる菩薩様です。

“おんかかか びさんまえいそわか” これはお地蔵様の真言です。
「地蔵菩薩さま、地蔵菩薩さま、地蔵菩薩さま、あなたにすべて投げ出して従い讃え願いを成就させます」といった意味なんだそうです。

卍の上に祀られているお地蔵様です。京都では8月24日頃に各町内で、子ども達のご加護を願い、地蔵盆が開かれます。

The place is located in Kissyoin Nishinochayacho, Minami-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto. Access, Take a No.13 bus from Shijo-karasuma by Kyoto city bus and get off at Nishinochayacho bus stop. It is about 5 minutes on foot from there.

At the end of the Edo period, Jizo was enshrined by Ansei five years (1858) by Yosentei Matsumura.

Jizo is a niece who stays in the world and takes care of our hardships.

“On ka ka ka, Bi san ma e i so wa ka” This sentence is Jizo’s Shingon(words of Buddha).
It means “Jizo-sama, Jizo-sama, Jizo-sama, I will throw you all out and fulfill your wishes.”

It is Jizo who is scolded on the pot. In Kyoto, the Jizo Bon will be held around August 24 in each town, hoping to protect the children.

■日向地蔵さんまでのアクセス
・四条烏丸から → 四条烏丸の交差点、南西のバス停から13番のバスに乗る。四条烏丸から25分ほどで西ノ茶屋町のバス停で下車。そこから南西に向かい徒歩5分です。
・京都駅から → 京都駅北口バスターミナルのC4乗り場から78番のバスに乗る。京都駅から25分ほどで西ノ茶屋町のバス停です。そこから南西に向かい徒歩5分です。

■Access to Himuke Jizo
・From Shijo-karasuma → Shijo-karasuma intersection and the southwest bus stop, and Take the No.13 bus.
Get off at Nishinochayacho bus stop in about 25 minutes from Shijo-karasuma. From there it’s 5 minutes walk south west.

・From Kyoto station → Take bus No. 78 from C4 bus stop at Kyoto Station North Exit Bus Terminal
Get off at Nishinochayacho bus stop in about 25 minutes from Kyoto station. From there it’s 5 minutes walk south west.



四条烏丸&京都駅はバス停が少し複雑です。もしわからなければ人に尋ねるのもありだと思います。京都人は冷たいと言われますが、そんなことはなくて優しい人もたくさんいますよ。

The bus stop is a little complicated at Shijo-Karasuma & Kyoto Station. If you do not understand, I think that there are also questions to people. It is said that Kyoto people are not kind, but there are not many such people and many kind people.
