北野天満宮・番外編　御祭神の菅原道真公について (Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine, Extra Edition – about Kitano Tenman-gu’s God Michizane SUGAWARA)

菅原道真公（845～903）は大宰府に左遷されて、2年あまりで亡くなります。左遷の理由は娘婿の斉世親王（ときよしんのう）を天皇につけさせようとした疑いです（そのときの天皇は第60代醍醐天皇で、親王の異母兄にあたります）。また子ども4人も流罪となりました。
道真は子煩悩だったようですが、妾もたくさんいて、生みの母が不明な子が20人以上もいます。

道真は都を追われますが、斉世親王（886～927）は仁和寺に入り、修行に務めます。道真が左遷になった時の左大臣は藤原時平でした。

909　藤原時平が39歳で病死

913　源光（みなもとのひかる）が狩りの最中に泥沼で溺死

923　醍醐天皇皇子の保明親王（やすあきらしんのう。時平の甥。903～923）死去。

925　保明親王の子、時平の孫の慶頼王が5歳で死去

930　会議中に清涼殿が落雷を受け、大納言藤原清貫（きよつら）が即死。平希世
（たいらのまれよ）が顔を焼かれ間もなく死去。隣の紫宸殿にも落雷がが走り、数人の死傷者がでました。それを目撃した醍醐天皇も体調を崩して、3ヶ月後に崩御。これらを道真公の祟りだと恐れた朝廷は子ども達を京に呼び戻す。

923　道真を右大臣に復し、正二位に。それから70年後の993年に贈正一位。そして太政大臣と最高の位を贈っています。

この間、天災や疫病も起こりましたが、道真公が祀られても、100年程は大災害が起きる度に祟りとして恐れられました。

余談ですが、道真公の長男・高視（876～913）の子孫は、高辻家や唐橋家等の6家が残り、明治時代に高辻家から西高辻家が別れて太宰府天満宮の社家として現在に至っています。

A lightning strike also ran to the neighboring Shishinden, and several people were injured and injured. The Emperor Tenno who witnessed it also got sick and collapsed three months later. The court, who feared that these were the indignation of Michizane, is a child call back to Kyoto.

923 Michizane returned to the right minister, and he was in second place. Then 70 years later, in 993, he was the top spot. And we give the highest rank with the Minister of Finance.

Natural disasters and plagues also occurred during this time, but even if Michizane was scolded, it was feared as a resentment every time a major disaster occurred for about 100 years.

As an aside, six descendants such as Takatsuki family and Karahashi family remain as descendants of the eldest son of Michizane (876-913), and as a company house in Dazaifu Tenmangu, the Nishitakatsuji family parted from Takatsuji family during the Meiji era It has reached the present.
