太秦天神川付近の写真です。右京区役所を中心に地下鉄東西線や京福電鉄嵐山線、区役所前にはバスターミナルと交通アクセスも良好。

It is a photograph of the vicinity of Uzumasa Tenjingawa. There is good access to subway Tozai Line and Keifuku Electric Railway Arashiyama Line around Ukyo Ward Office and bus terminal and transportation in front of Ward Office.

太秦天神川駅周辺

近くに京都先端科学大学（今年の4月に京都学園大学から校名変更）の太秦キャンパスもあります。2012年京都市山ノ内浄水場跡地の活用事業者として決定し、2015年4月から開校してます。2018年から理事長に日本電産創業者の永守重信氏が就き、今、勢いのある大学です。

右京区役所から自転車で3分。木嶋坐天照御魂神社（このしまにますあまてるみたまじんじゃ）に到着。通称、蚕の社（かいこのやしろ）ですね。観光地名としてはこちらの方が有名になっています。

There is also the Uzumasa Campus of Kyoto University of Advanced Science (name change from Kyoto Gakuen University in April this year). We decided as a utilization company of Kyoto City Yamanouchi water purification plant ruins site in 2012 and opened in April 2015. Mr. Shigenobu Nagamori, founder of Nidec, was appointed to the board of directors from 2018, and it is now a university with momentum.

3 minutes by bicycle from Ukyo Ward Office. Arrived at Amaterasu Otama Shrine in Kisho, which is a place where you can see it. It is commonly known as a company called Kaikono Yashiro. This is more famous as a tourist destination name.

創建は701年より前とされ、古くから祈雨の神さまとして信仰され、境内には京都三珍鳥居の一つである三柱鳥居が元糺の池の中に建っています。

The foundation was made before 701, and since ancient times it has been believed as a rain’s god, and in the precinct there is a three-poster tori, one of the three most famous toris in Kyoto, standing in the pond of the main shrine.

この鳥居は1831（天保2）年の再建です。2002（平成14）年の発掘調査では平安時代中期頃の遺構が出土してます。ご祭神は天之御中主命(あめのみなかぬしのかみ)、大国魂神(おおくにたまのかみ)、穂々出見命(ほほでみのみこと)、鵜芽葺不合命(うがやふきあえずのみこと)の神さまが鎮座してます。

本殿東隣に鎮座する蚕養神社（こかいじんじゃ）は養蚕・機織り・染色技術にすぐれた秦氏が招来したとされますが、残念ながら、修復中のため参拝できませんでした。

境内には呉服商の三井高安が祀られている顕名神社もあるようですが、残念ながらどこかわからず。

This torii is the reconstruction of 1831 (Tenpo 2). In the excavation survey of 2002 (Heisei 14), the remains of the middle of the Heian period are excavated. The god of heaven is enshrined by Amenominakanusino Kami, Ookunitamano Kami, Hohodemino Mikoto, Ugayahukiaezuno Mikoto incompetence.

It is believed that Kokaijinja, which sits next to the main hall east, has been invited by Mr. Hata who is superior in sericulture, weaving and dyeing techniques, but unfortunately he could not visit because it was under restoration.

It seems that there is a shrine in the precinct where the Kimono merchant Mitsui Takayasu is enshrined, but unfortunately I do not know where.

再び、葛野大路を南へ。
葛野大路四条には京都外国語大学が、葛野大路五条には京都光華女子大学があります。光華女子大学の創立者は香淳皇后（昭和天皇のお妃）の妹で、東本願寺第24代門主夫人の大谷智子さん。

葛野大路天神川から五条までは大学通りといった所でしょうか。

Once again, head south to Kadono Oji.
Kyoto Foreign Language University is located in Shijo Kadono Oji, and Kyoto Koka Women’s University is in Gojo Kadono Oji. The founder of Kouka Women’s University is Tomoko Otani, the sister of the 24th Higashi Honganji wife, the sister of Empress Kojyun (the Emperor of Showa).

Kadono Oji from Tenjingawa to Gojo is a university street.

もうすぐ梅雨に入ります。紫陽花の名所に夏越の祓いに、祇園祭りもあります。暑い京都の夏ですが、気の向くままに巡っていきたいと思います。
